This year's event will take place in beautiful Denver, Colorado in the midst of the Rocky Mountains.

When we started the Tequila Mezcal Challenge, our goal was to set a higher standard for this rapidly growing category. With new brands launching nearly every week, our aim is to look beyond the flashy marketing and packaging to find the very best.

Let's be honest, flashy marketing is not everything.

How do we determine the best? 

While other competitions usually group agave products into only a few categories, we have meticulously designed the first professional spirits competition encompassing over 60 Tequila, Mezcal, and Agave spirits categories. 

Our judging team consists of some of the world's most experienced tequila and mezcal experts who appreciate the time and effort that goes into the entire production process.
